CHICHAWATNI: Three criminals, who had earlier fled from police custody, were killed in a police encounter on Friday.
Police said that three criminals, who were under custody and were being taken for recovery of arms and looted valuables, managed to escape from custody. The police chased the fleeing culprits and approached them in Ghaziabad locality of Chichawatni.
The culprits started firing at police and in retaliatory firing all the three criminals were killed.
The bodies were shifted to mortuary of the local hospital for postmortem.
