LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow on the death of renowned actor and poet Iftikhar Qaiser.
While commiserating with the bereaved family in his condolence message, CM prayed that “may Allah Almighty bless the departed soul with eternal peace and give patience to lamenting family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude”. Furthermore, he added that Qaiser had created his unique position in acting and the services he rendered for the art will always be remembered.
Separately, the CM expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the sad demise of All Pakistan Newspaper Federation President Afzal Ahmed. In his condolence message, the chief minister expressed his sympathy and condolences to the grieving family and prayed for the departed soul.
