Pakistan cricket legend and former Test team captain Misbahul Haq has said that he has a good relationship with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and members of the cricket team.
Speaking to a private news channel during the final match between Pakistan and World XI, Misbah remarked that this is how retirement should be. “You need to leave things on a good note with your organisation, your team and all the people you have worked with.”
Misbah and hard-hitting all-rounder Shahid Afridi performed a ‘lap of honour’ at the Gaddafi Stadium before the final T20 match between Pakistan and World XI.
Speaking about the honour, he said that it is humbling for him to have received this honour. “I am happy to have gotten this amount of respect. I am thankful to PCB and all the supporters.”
