Four-day free medical camp for dengue control held

The Government of Punjab on the request of KKP Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, has sent mobile health team to conduct free medical camps for dengue control in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Under the supervision of FATA ACS Dr Fida Wazir and Agency Surgeon Dr Niaz Afridi arranged four-day free medical camp in Jamrud and Bara of Khyber Agency in which total 1837 patients were examined and 11 cases were diagnosed positive. 287 blood tests were done for dengue and also provided free medicines to the patients. In these camps the team also conducted awareness session against dengue.
