LAHORE: With Eidul Azha around the corner, Careem has come up with another offer called ‘Bakra on Wheels’ to allow the users to order the service for bringing sacrificial animals – such as goats or lambs, to their door- steps. The offer is limited and will end on August 27.
Careem is trying to keep up with the trend which it started on Eidul Azha last year when it introduced ‘Qasai (Butcher) on Demand’.
In past as well, the app-based taxi service introduced some interesting marketing strategies such as ‘Rishta Aunty Cab’ where a female would ask for customer’s preference regarding bride or groom and would recommend a proposal, or two, accordingly to the customer.
On Eidul Fitr, the company launched ‘Nayi (barber) on Demand’ where a barber would come to your home and save you from the hassle of travelling to barber shops, which are mostly crowded due to Eid. The company also once offered ‘Doctors on Demand’ to its customers and is known for coming up with gimmicks like these.
