Temperatures to rise in most parts of the country

ISLAMABAD: Most parts of the country will remain dry and will receive a lot of sun in the next 24 hours, as predicted by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) 

A shallow westerly wave is present over northern parts of the country. However, thunderstorm/rain with gusty winds is expected at a few places in Malakand, Makran divisions, upper FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, weather remained dry in most parts of the country during the past 24 hours. Sukkar and Mithi remained the hottest places in the country with mercury soaring up to 44°C.
