KARACHI: Hassan, a four-month-old child, died due to the lack of sufficient ventilators at Civil Hospital on Sunday.
According to details, the hospital’s management had told the father that no ventilators were available and asking him to take his child to any other hospital.
Talking to media persons, the father of the child said that the hospital has been “torturing” his son since yesterday.
“Ventilator would have been available if a son of any high-up had fallen ill,” he lamented.
Sindh Health Minister Sikandar Mandhro told the media persons that the ventilators in the hospital were occupied by the other patients and the family did not follow the advice of the doctors.
