Police on Tuesday arrested a suspected terrorist belonging to banned outfit in a raid here.
Acting on an intelligence report regarding the presence of militants, the police conducted an operation in Shujaabad tehsil of Multan and arrested an operative of a banned terrorist outfit following a brief encounter. Arms were also seized during the raid. The detained suspect was handed over to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for further interrogation.
