Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s cousin Inamullah Niazi, who had joined PTI after defecting from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in 2012, rejoined the Sharifs camp on Friday.
Niazi had won the Punjab Assembly seat from Bhakkar-II PP-48 in the by-election in November 2014 as an independent candidate. He had won this seat after it was vacated due to the demise of his brother, Najeebullah Niazi.
Niazi had developed differences with Imran Khan after he was denied a PTI ticket from his home constituency.
