Congo virus patient admitted to Holy Family Hospital

A female tested positive for Congo virus has been admitted to hospital.

According to details, 22-year-old Ansar Bibi resident of Talagang was taken to Holy family Hospital and was diagnosed with Congo virus after early medical aid.

Following the detection of the virus, the patient has been shifted to the hospital’s isolation ward and her blood samples have been sent for laboratory testing.

The medical staff assigned for her treatment has been directed to take all necessary precautionary measures before examining her in order to avoid catching the virus.
