Gujranwala Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Chairman Prof Dr Farhan Ebadat Yar Khan said that all private sector institutions needed to follow the BISE’s basic standard operating procedures.
Ebadat, in a meeting with the media, said that some private institutions were charging unaffordable fees from the students, and in addition not providing proper libraries and labs to the latter. The facilities, he said, were part of the fundamental right of the students and a basic requirement as per the BISE’s rules and regulations. He said that private sector institutions needed to follow the BISE’s basic standard operating procedures and the directions of the Education Department, and that there would be no compromise in this matter.
