Seven members of the same family, including three children and two females, were killed on Friday when the roof of their house collapsed due to heavy rainfall.
According to details, the roof of a house in Lashari village near Rajanpur collapsed due to heavy rain during the night between Thursday and Friday, burying 14 people of the same family under the debris.
Rescue teams reached the spot and started rescue operation which lasted for four hours. Seven members of the family were killed and five injured while the remaining two members were unhurt.
The dead were identified as Rab Nawaz, his wife Aziz Mai, their sons Zahid, Asif, Adnan, Imran and daughter Naseem.
The injured were shifted to RajanpurHospital.
