Health authorities have expressed concerns over the report issues by PM Secretariat regarding presence of polio virus in Khyber Agency.
According to details, the PM Secretariat on Monday had issued report saying polio virus was found widely in various areas of Khyber Agency.
The report said that presence of P-1 and P-3 virus in the Khyber Agency is a real threat to the whole world. A potential outbreak looms large in the tribal agency.
It further said that the vaccination teams don’t have access to reach 40 percent children in the area as a result new cases of polio are being reported.
