QUETTA: Traces of polio virus have been found in environment samples collected in three districts including Quetta, Pishin and Qila Abdullah.
In view of the situation a province wide anti-polio campaign will be carried out on March 20 where Ulema will support the government. During the campaign the anti-polio vaccine will be administered and injected to children aged till five.
A good thing however is that no active polio cases have been recorded in the province this year.
Pakistan is one of the only three remaining polio-endemic countries of the world.
