Anti-Taliban outfit claims attacks on Afghan forces
The Afghanistan Freedom Front says it launched weekend attacks on Taliban forces in Baghlan and Badakhshan. The group also claimed four Taliban commanders were killed in clashes over the past two days.

ISLAMABAD: The Afghanistan Freedom Front said it carried out a series of attacks on Taliban forces over the weekend, including a rocket strike on a military convoy in Baghlan province and separate operations in Badakhshan.
On its official X account, the anti-Taliban outfit said its fighters tracked a Taliban convoy travelling from Kabul toward Badakhshan before attacking it on Saturday in Doshi district of Baghlan after following it to the Northern Salang area.
The group also claimed additional attacks in Zebak district of Badakhshan province. It said four Taliban commanders were killed in clashes over the past two days.
No independent confirmation of the claims was immediately available.
