LAHORE: Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that he will personally teach English and mathematics in government schools as part of the provincial government's initiative to improve the quality of public education.
The minister said he would regularly visit schools to conduct classes, aiming to engage directly with students and better understand classroom challenges.
He said the initiative is intended to strengthen learning outcomes, encourage greater accountability and reinforce the government's commitment to improving standards in public schools.
The education department has also encouraged other officials to remain actively involved with schools and monitor the implementation of education reforms across the province.
The announcement comes as the Punjab government continues to roll out measures aimed at enhancing teaching quality, student performance and the overall public education system.
