Karachi rally held on Burhan Wani’s 10th death anniversary
Thousands joined a rally in Karachi on Wednesday to mark Burhan Wani’s 10th death anniversary and express solidarity with Kashmiris. The march was organised by the APHC’s AJK and Pakistan chapter.

KARACHI: A rally in Karachi on Wednesday drew thousands of participants marking the 10th death anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani, with attendees voicing support for Kashmiris and urging implementation of their right to self-determination under United Nations resolutions.
The procession was arranged by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan chapter, led by its convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi. People from political, religious, social, student, legal, business and Kashmiri organisations joined the march, along with members of civil society.
The rally started from the ACP, Karachi and ended at the Karachi Press Club. Participants carried Pakistani and Kashmiri flags as well as portraits of Burhan Wani. Banners and placards seen during the march backed the demand for self-determination, while slogans in support of the Kashmiri cause were raised along the route.
The gathering also included leaders of various political and religious parties, lawyers, journalists, human rights activists and members of the Hindu community.
