VIDEO: FIFA's court jester Max Fosh strikes again, sets yellow card on fire

Every year, the Sidemen Charity Match delivers viral moments.

This year, Max Fosh may have just won the internet.

During the annual creator football match at Wembley Stadium, the YouTuber and comedian was shown a yellow card by former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg after committing a tactical foul.

Most players would have accepted the booking and moved on.

Fosh did something... slightly different.

He took the yellow card, turned towards the crowd of nearly 90,000 fans, and set it on fire right there on the pitch.

The crowd erupted as the card disappeared in a flash of flames, leaving Clattenburg scrambling to pull out a replacement so the match could continue.

If it sounds ridiculous, that's because it's become something of a tradition.

Back in 2023, Fosh famously responded to a booking by pulling out an UNO Reverse Card and presenting it to Clattenburg.

In 2025, he escalated things by feeding the referee's yellow card into a tiny paper shredder he had somehow smuggled onto the pitch.

This year, he completed the trilogy by making the booking vanish in a burst of fire using a magician's flash-paper trick.

"I had six days. Had to come up with something," Fosh later joked.

"It worked about 50 percent of the time when I practiced it at home."

The stunt came during one of the wildest charity matches ever played.

The Sidemen FC and YouTube Allstars produced an absurd 10-10 draw, before the YouTube Allstars won the penalty shootout 4-1.

Ironically, Fosh even redeemed himself after the booking by confidently converting his penalty.

Beyond the chaos, the event raised a record-breaking £6.2 million for charity.

But if social media is anything to go by, most people will remember one thing above all else:

Max Fosh becoming the first footballer to literally burn a yellow card in front of the referee.
