Man arrested after wife’s killing in Faisalabad
Police in Faisalabad have arrested a man accused of beating his wife to death after a domestic dispute in Buchiana. The victim, Nida, 30, was a mother of four.
FAISALABAD: Police have arrested a man accused of killing his wife after a domestic dispute in Faisalabad’s Buchiana area, according to police.
The incident took place in Chak No. 644-GB, which falls within the limits of Lundianwala Police Station. Police said the victim, identified as 30-year-old Nida, was a mother of four and was allegedly beaten to death by her husband, Shahbaz.
A murder case was registered against the suspect on the complaint of the victim’s father, Muhammad Naseem. Police said Shahbaz was taken into custody soon after the incident.
Investigators are now examining the circumstances surrounding the killing, police said.
