Arslan Ash wins eighth Evo title with Tekken 8 triumph in Las Vegas
Pakistani gamer Arslan ‘Ash’ Siddique has won his eighth Evolution Championship Series title after beating South Korea’s Rangchu in the Tekken final in Las Vegas. The win also made it his fourth straight Tekken title at Evo.

LAS VEGAS: Pakistani professional gamer Arslan ‘Ash’ Siddique secured his eighth Evolution Championship Series title on Monday after defeating South Korean player Rangchu in the Tekken final in Las Vegas.
The tournament announced on X that Arslan had won the Tekken 8 competition at Evo 2026, marking his fourth straight title in the event. This year’s competition was held from June 26 to 28 at the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
Arslan also confirmed the victory in a post on X, writing "8x EVO champion. Alhamdulillah."
His earlier Evo record, includes victories in the Tekken 7 tournament in Japan in 2019 and the Evo tournament in the United States the same year. He later finished third in the Evo 2022 Tekken 7 event, won the Tekken 7 title at EVO Japan in April 2023, claimed his fifth Evo title in July 2024, his sixth at Evo 2025 in August 2025, and his seventh at EVO France in October 2025. According to the tournament’s website, Evo is the world’s biggest fighting game tournament and has a long history of bringing together players from around the world to compete in Las Vegas.
