Sannia Ashfaq accuses Imad Wasim of abuse and neglect in new posts

Sannia Ashfaq, the former wife of cricketer Imad Wasim, has once again spoken publicly about the breakdown of their marriage, making serious allegations about his conduct during and after their relationship.

In a series of social media posts, Sannia accused Imad of controlling and abusive behaviour, claiming that her married life had become difficult during her pregnancy. She alleged that he cheated on her while she was expecting their child and later married digital creator and lawyer Nyla Raja.

Sannia also claimed that Imad had been sending her legal notices asking her to leave the apartment where she is currently living. She further alleged that he had sought custody of one of their children despite not maintaining contact with them.

According to Sannia, social workers recently asked whether Imad wanted to speak to his children, but he allegedly did not respond. She claimed that while he does not want to meet or speak to the children, he continues to accuse her of keeping them away from him.

The influencer said she would not give up on her children and would continue to protect them. She also alleged that Imad’s family had pressured her in the past to withdraw her statement after domestic abuse allegations led to his arrest in the UK in July 2025.

Sannia said social services also became involved due to concerns related to the children. She claimed that Imad’s behaviour had caused distress not only to her but also to their children.

The controversy comes months after Imad and Sannia’s separation became public. The two share three children. Imad later married Nyla Raja in February 2026, and the couple has since been sharing updates from their married life on social media.

Imad has also publicly responded to Sannia, defending his current wife and warning his former wife against involving Nyla in their past. He urged Sannia to move on and stop dragging his wife into the matter.

Sannia, however, responded by saying she was not affected by his remarks and remained focused on her children.

The matter has drawn strong reactions online, with many social media users expressing support for Sannia and criticising Imad and Nyla. Others have called for restraint, saying personal disputes involving children should not be fought publicly.

Imad has not issued a detailed response to the latest allegations at the time of the report.
