ISLAMABAD: The Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) has introduced IBCC ePay, a digital payment platform that allows applicants around the world to pay fees online through Visa and MasterCard for equivalence services.
The new facility has been launched to assist overseas Pakistanis, international students and foreign applicants by removing the need for physical banking arrangements. According to the commission, the system is intended to make the payment process easier and improve access to its services.
The commission said the initiative is part of its wider digital transformation programme focused on greater transparency, efficiency and user convenience in public service delivery. Speaking on the occasion, IBCC Executive Director Dr Ghulam Ali Mallah said the facility had been launched under the special directives and continued support of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training for overseas students and applicants worldwide.
Dr Mallah also acknowledged the guidance and encouragement of the federal minister for education and professional training and the federal secretary education, saying their support helped make the initiative possible. He added that the platform was developed entirely in-house by the IBCC team, which he said reflected the organisation’s expanding technological capacity and commitment to innovation.
