ISLAMABAD: Eleven Pakistani companies have been chosen for the 2026 cohort of Climate Finance Accelerator Pakistan, a UK-funded programme aimed at helping climate-focused businesses secure investment and expand solutions that support the country’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
The programme has backed more than 230 projects worldwide and has helped unlock over $500 million in investment so far. Of that total, up to $40 million has been mobilised in Pakistan.
The selected businesses were picked for their potential to generate climate benefits while contributing to Pakistan’s low-carbon transition. Their work spans energy, transport, waste and circular economy, agriculture, buildings and construction, and financial inclusion.
