Sindh sets July dates for Matric, Inter results

KARACHI: The Sindh government will announce Matric examination results by July 10 and Intermediate results by July 31, according to an Education Department spokesperson.

The dates were decided in a meeting of all education boards chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Ismail Rahoo. The meeting reviewed the annual Matric and Intermediate examinations held across the province, while boards briefed participants on arrangements in their respective divisions.

During the meeting, Rahoo directed all boards to release Matric results across Sindh by July 10 and Intermediate results by July 31. Officials also told the meeting that Class 9 and Class 11 results would be issued by August 31. Rahoo said timely release of results was necessary so students could be facilitated in admissions on time.

In remarks shared from the meeting, the minister said every possible support would be provided to improve transparency, merit and the examination system in education boards. The meeting was also informed that cases had been registered against several people in Karachi for violating Section 144 during the examinations. The annual examinations began in April and are due to conclude in mid-June.
