Saudi-bound passenger offloaded at Islamabad airport over two passports

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency immigration authorities offloaded a passenger bound for Saudi Arabia at Islamabad International Airport after two Pakistani passports carrying conflicting personal details were recovered from him, an official said.

The passenger was identified as Hazrat Muhammad. According to the official, he was stopped during immigration clearance when his travel papers were found to be suspicious.

During checking, officials recovered two separate Pakistani passports from his possession. The official said the two documents contained discrepancies in important personal information, including his father's name and date of birth.

After further scrutiny, immigration authorities found what the official described as serious irregularities in the documents. The passenger was then offloaded and referred for further investigation.
