Pakistan Navy honors excellence as CNS Awards decorations at Investiture Ceremony 2026
Pakistan Navy held its Investiture Ceremony 2026 in Karachi, with CNS Admiral Naveed Ashraf awarding Sitara-i-Imtiaz, Tamgha-i-Imtiaz and multiple Tamgha-i-Khidmat categories, plus letters of commendation for meritorious service.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Navy Investiture Ceremony 2026 was held at Bahria Auditorium, where Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf graced the occasion as chief guest and conferred military awards on officers, chief petty officers, sailors, and civilians in recognition of distinguished service.
During the ceremony, a total of 18 officers were awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) for exceptional service in the line of duty, while 11 officers received the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military).
In addition, personnel were decorated across multiple categories of professional excellence, including 33 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) I, 82 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) II, and 69 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) III, highlighting the Navy’s operational and administrative achievements.
Letters of Commendation from the Chief of the Naval Staff were also awarded to 51 individuals, including officers, chief petty officers, sailors, and civilian personnel, in acknowledgment of meritorious contributions to service.
The ceremony was attended by senior serving and retired officers of the armed forces, along with families of the award recipients, reflecting the Pakistan Navy’s tradition of formally recognizing professionalism, dedication, and service to the nation.
