Robert Lewandowski says he will leave Barcelona this summer
Robert Lewandowski has said he will leave Barcelona this summer after four seasons at the club. The Polish striker scored 119 goals in 191 games and helped Barca win three La Liga titles and the Copa del Rey.

BARCELONA: Robert Lewandowski has announced that he will leave Barcelona this summer when his contract comes to an end, bringing his four-year spell at the Spanish club to a close.
The 37-year-old Poland striker confirmed his decision on Saturday in a post on Instagram. Since arriving from Bayern Munich in 2022, Lewandowski has scored 119 goals in 191 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona.
During his time at the club, he helped Barcelona win three La Liga titles, including this season's championship, as well as the Copa del Rey in 2025. He joined the Catalan side at a difficult period, when the club was struggling financially and had fallen from its previous standing, and went on to play a key role in helping restore Barcelona to the top of Spanish football while also contributing to its efforts in the Champions League.
After four years full of challenges and hard work, it's time to move on.
I leave with the feeling that the mission is complete. Four seasons, three championships.
Lewandowski also reflected on his bond with the club and its supporters.
Barca is back where it belongs.
I will never forget the love I received from the fans from my very first days. Catalonia is my place on earth.
Final Camp Nou appearance set for Sunday
Lewandowski is due to make his final appearance at Barcelona's Camp Nou on Sunday against Real Betis. Coach Hansi Flick said the striker will start the match.
Flick, who also worked with Lewandowski at Bayern Munich, said the forward had already addressed the squad.
He spoke with the team, said goodbye, and that it was a great time for him here in Barcelona.
The Barcelona coach praised both Lewandowski's professionalism and his influence on younger players.
I've worked with Robert now for years, and we won together nine (trophies), all the titles I've won were with him.
For me it's a privilege to work with him. He's a professional player... every day he gave the best with his body to be at the highest level.
He's a perfect role model for young players... this is why he's still playing at this level.
Flick also described him as a fantastic human and a world-class player.
Barcelona paid tribute to the striker on social media, thanking him for his contribution and describing his journey from star arrival to club legend.
Strong record in Spain
Lewandowski has been among the most productive forwards of his era. In his first season under Xavi Hernandez, he finished as La Liga's top scorer. This season, Flick alternated him in attack with Spain international Ferran Torres, and Lewandowski scored 18 goals in 44 matches.
He did not reveal where he will play next. However, he has been linked with clubs in Saudi Arabia and the United States.
