Pakistani label Warp makes Hollywood debut in Devil Wears Prada sequel
Meryl Streep reprises Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada sequel, carrying Lahore label Warp’s Accordion bag. Anne Hathaway also promotes Warp, boosting Pakistani fashion’s global visibility.

Meryl Streep has reprised her iconic role as Miranda Priestly in the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, and this time, a Pakistani fashion label has made its way into the spotlight.
In a notable scene, Priestly is seen carrying an Accordion bag in Oxblood by Lahore-based brand Warp, marking a major moment for Pakistani design on a global stage.
The film, released on May 1, also sees Anne Hathaway return as Andy Sachs. During the promotional tour, Hathaway was photographed carrying Warp’s black Tobla bag, styled with a Schiaparelli outfit, further amplifying the brand’s visibility.
The sequel reunites key cast members including Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, nearly two decades after the original film became a cult classic.
Warp’s appearance in the film continues its growing international footprint. Artists like Doja Cat and Iman Vellani have previously been seen carrying the brand, while local stars including Mawra Hocane and Ayeza Khan have also incorporated it into their appearances.
The inclusion of Warp in a major Hollywood production signals another step forward for Pakistani fashion, placing local craftsmanship within one of cinema’s most recognisable style universes.
