Four killed in separate shooting incidents in Hub

KHUZDAR: Four people, including two suspected dacoits, were killed in separate shooting incidents in Hub district on Wednesday, according to police officials.

One of the incidents took place in the Bhawani area of Hub, where armed robbers were allegedly holding people at gunpoint near a local hotel during a robbery attempt. Police said a citizen put up resistance and opened fire on the assailants.

Imam Bakhsh Baloch, DSP Hub circle, said local residents also responded during the incident and both suspected dacoits were shot dead at the scene.

The police official identified the location of the incident as Bhawani and said the two men were killed while attempting to carry out the robbery.

In a separate incident, a truck driver identified as Nasarullah was shot dead on Adalat Road, police officials said. No further details about the circumstances of the shooting were provided in the report.

Separately, police found a body in the Sakran area of Hub district. Officials said the body was shifted to hospital for an autopsy.

The three incidents occurred in the industrial district of Hub on the same day, resulting in four deaths in total, according to police.

Separate incidents reported by police

Police officials described the killings as separate shooting incidents reported from different parts of Hub district. The first involved an attempted robbery in Bhawani, while the other two cases were reported from Adalat Road and Sakran.

DSP Hub circle Imam Bakhsh Baloch provided details of the robbery-related shooting, while police also confirmed the killing of the truck driver and the recovery of the body in Sakran.

The body recovered from Sakran was sent for post-mortem examination, according to police.

Wednesday’s incidents added to a violent day in Hub, where police recorded fatalities in separate cases across the district.
