Man dies after head injury in street fight

FAISALABAD: A 30-year-old man died after suffering a serious head injury during a street altercation near Nishat Bridge on Jhumra Road in Faisalabad, police said on Saturday.

According to police, the incident occurred within the limits of Mansoorabad police station near Nishatabad Bridge, where a fight reportedly broke out among several people.

During the clash, Muhammad Zeeshan, 30, was hit in the head with a punch. Police said he fell unconscious after sustaining the injury.

Rescue officials provided him initial medical assistance at the scene before shifting him to Allied Hospital.

Police said the man later died from the severe head injury he had suffered in the fight.

Incident reported near Nishatabad Bridge

The police account said the confrontation took place near Nishatabad Bridge on Jhumra Road. The circumstances that led to the fight were not detailed in the report, but police said multiple individuals were involved in the altercation.
