Islamabad: A newborn baby girl was found abandoned near a graveyard in the Bhurban Kahia area on the outskirts of Murree and was later moved to hospital by Rescue 1122.
According to reports, the infant was spotted early on Tuesday morning by a passer-by near the graveyard. The person then informed Rescue 1122, prompting an emergency response.
Rescue officials reached the location and took the baby into their care. An initial medical examination was carried out at the site, after which first aid was provided to the child before she was transported to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Murree, for further treatment and care.
