McDonald’s worker flees after stabbing coworker

FREDERICKSBURG: Police in Fredericksburg, Virginia are searching for a McDonald’s employee accused of stabbing a coworker during a dispute at the restaurant late Saturday night.

Officers responded to the outlet on Emancipation Highway shortly before midnight after receiving reports of a stabbing. On arrival, they found an employee with a shoulder wound.

Police said the injured worker’s condition was not life-threatening. The victim was taken to hospital and released a short time later.

Investigators said an argument between two employees escalated while they were at work. During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly stabbed the coworker and fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.

Authorities later identified the suspect as 25-year-old Dangelo Arroyo Gil of Stafford. Police said they have recovered a knife believed to have been used in the attack, but the suspect had not been taken into custody as of the latest update.

He is described as being about six feet tall, weighing around 160 pounds, and having curly afro-style hair. Fredericksburg Police have asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the department.
