Grade 8 results announced. Here’s how to check them online

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that the 2026 Grade 8 Assessment results are now available online through the official PECTAA portal.

Students across Punjab can check their results from 3 PM onward by visiting pectaa.edu.pk. The portal offers a single, convenient platform for students to access their marks.

Sharing the update, the chief minister said this was the province’s first AI-enabled assessment to be marked entirely by machines.

She added that nearly one million students appeared in the examination, with an overall pass rate of 88 percent. The pass rate was recorded at 83 percent for boys and 92 percent for girls.

Maryam Nawaz said the results reflect the hard work of students, the dedication of teachers, and the support of parents. She also reaffirmed her commitment to promoting fairness, transparency, and equal opportunities in education.
