At least two people were killed in the attack. Fars also said several others were injured, and rescue teams were sent to the site following the strike.
The attack damaged the bridge, which was part of a major road infrastructure project and had been expected to be inaugurated soon.
Iranian media also reported electricity outages in some areas after the strike, while regional power authorities were working to restore supply.
Trump comments on Iran
US President Donald Trump said on social media that it was now time for Iran to make a deal before it was too late.
Wider conflict
The United States and Israel have continued an air campaign against Iran since February 28. More than 1,900 people have been killed so far, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Tehran has responded with drone and missile attacks targeting Israel as well as Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. Those attacks, it said, have caused casualties and damage to infrastructure, while also disrupting global markets and aviation.
it was now time for Iran to make a deal before it was too late.
No further official details were included about the extent of the damage at the bridge site beyond the casualties, injuries and disruption to electricity supply in nearby areas.
The B1 Bridge was identified as a key structure on a major highway in northern Iran, and its reported targeting marks another development in the ongoing hostilities involving Iran, the United States and Israel.
