IESCO vows to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Eidul Fitr celebrations

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced that all necessary arrangements have been finalised to provide uninterrupted electricity supply during Eidul Fitr, enabling consumers to celebrate the occasion with their families without any inconvenience.

IESCO Chief Executive Officer Engineer Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood stated that the company had successfully fulfilled its commitment to ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply throughout the holy month of Ramazan. He said that the company's officers and staff once again demonstrated that IESCO was a consumer-friendly organisation by ensuring 100 per cent uninterrupted power supply, particularly during Sehr and Iftar timings.

The CEO appreciated the efforts of the company's staff who, despite observing fasts themselves, performed their duties with a sense of responsibility throughout the month.

"Due to their commitment, consumers were able to carry out their prayers and daily activities smoothly," he added.

Looking ahead to the Eid holidays, Engineer Khalid Mahmood said that on the joyous occasion of Eidul Fitr, all necessary arrangements had been completed to ensure consumers face no disruption in electricity supply so that they could celebrate Eid with their loved ones without any inconvenience.

Round-the-clock monitoring and complaint centres

As part of the preparations for the festive period, IESCO has established dedicated monitoring rooms to oversee power supply across its network. In addition, complaint offices will remain operational around the clock, functioning 24/7 during the Eid holidays to promptly address any issues faced by consumers.

The measures are aimed at ensuring that any electricity-related complaints or faults are dealt with swiftly during the festivities, minimising disruption for households and businesses across the IESCO service area.

IESCO provides electricity to consumers in Islamabad and surrounding areas, and the company's pledge to maintain seamless supply during both Ramazan and Eid reflects its stated commitment to reliable service delivery during periods of heightened demand.
