KARACHI: The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 trophy was officially unveiled on Wednesday at a ceremony held at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, signaling the start of a new era for Pakistan’s premier Twenty20 cricket tournament.
The unveiling event was attended by PSL chief executive officer Salman Naseer, along with representatives from all eight participating teams. The new trophy, described as a 'masterpiece', was handcrafted by a team of 18 master artisans who dedicated over 2,600 hours to its creation.
The design of the trophy is intended to reflect the journey and evolution of the PSL over the past decade. At its base, the trophy features eight emerald-cut gemstones, each representing the colors of the eight PSL franchises and symbolizing the pride of the cities they stand for.
