Playgrounds build healthy kids

Playgrounds are very important for the healthy growth and development of children. Unfortunately, open spaces and playgrounds are decreasing day by day. While physical activities like running, jumping and playing games keeps children fit and active, a lack of playgrounds turns them towards using mobile phones and watching television.

This affects their physical and mental health. They may become lazy, weak and less social. Playgrounds also help children learn teamwork and discipline while engaging them in healthy activities that build their strength.

The government and local authorities must protect existing playgrounds and build new ones in every locality. Parents and community members should also raise their voices for this cause. Children are the future of our nation, and their health is very important.
