Rabbi’s ‘Blame Iran’ for Al-Aqsa Strike Remarks Resurface as Tehran Denies Saudi Oil Facility Hit

A resurfaced video of controversial Israeli rabbi Yosef Mizrachi has sparked fresh outrage online after he was seen suggesting that Al-Aqsa Mosque could be struck by a missile and the blame placed on Iran to reshape regional dynamics.

In the video, which has begun circulating widely again on social media, Mizrachi appears to speculate that a missile could “by chance” hit the mosque and “clear the way for the Third Temple,” prompting laughter from those present.

“It’s all moved by chance, to this location, to that location. We don’t know, maybe one of the missiles will hit the mosque and clear the way for the Third Temple. That could also be a miracle,” he says in the clip.

In another segment, he adds: “If it was up to me, the last time they shot hundreds of missiles, I would pretend that one of the missiles came from Iran and shoot it down. Then all the Arab nations will go against Iran. That will be the end of the problems. You make them fight with each other.”

The video’s renewed circulation comes at a sensitive time in the region. Earlier, reports had claimed that an Iranian missile struck Saudi oil refineries, raising fears of broader escalation. Tehran, however, categorically denied the allegations.

Al-Aqsa Mosque, located in Jerusalem’s Old City, is one of Islam’s holiest sites and a flashpoint in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Any suggestion of targeting the site carries profound religious and geopolitical implications.

The renewed attention to the video underscores the volatility of rhetoric in an already tense regional climate, particularly amid disputed claims and denials surrounding recent missile incidents.
