Jamaat-i-Islami Announces Nationwide Protests Against US-Israel Actions

Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Pakistan has announced plans to hold a nationwide day of protest on Friday, March 6, in response to what it describes as US and Israeli aggression against Iran. The decision was made during an emergency meeting of the party’s Central Executive Council (CEC) at Mansoorah, Lahore, chaired by JI Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman.

During the meeting, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman strongly condemned the actions of the United States and Israel against Iran, labeling them as acts of terrorism. He called on party members and supporters to participate in demonstrations at the district level across the country on the designated day of protest.

The meeting was attended by senior party leaders, including Vice Emir Liaqat Baloch, Secretary General Ameerul Azeem, and other members of the CEC. Participants discussed both national and international developments, with particular focus on the situation involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.

In addition to addressing international concerns, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed deep concern over ongoing tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He urged both countries to resolve their issues through dialogue and emphasized that Kabul should ensure Afghan territory is not used for activities against Pakistan.

The JI leadership reiterated its commitment to peaceful protest and called for unity among its members in voicing opposition to what it described as external aggression. The party’s planned demonstrations are set to take place in various districts, reflecting its stance on recent international events.

The emergency CEC meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the party’s position on national security and its condemnation of actions perceived as threats to regional stability.
