WSSP neglect harms health

Every morning since years, I have been observing clouds of dust primarily generated by the practices of the Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP), an institution which supposedly aims at improving environmental conditions. While cleaning operations are conducted, the failure to sprinkle water on the roads results in excessive dust in the air, posing serious health risks to residents and commuters alike. This reflects a lack of proper planning rather than a lack of intent. The department concerned can adopt simple preventive measures, such as regular sprinkling of water on the roads during sanitation activities, to ensure public health and environmental safety.
