Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to draw your attention to the unsanitary conditions of our area.
In our area (Gulistan-e-Johar, Block 18) the sweepers don’t do their work properly. They don’t sweep the roads, streets, and lanes regularly. Heaps of garbage and refuse can be seen everywhere. Flies settle on them and these have become the breeding places of mosquitoes. Gutters are overflowing and giving off a nasty smell. Pools of dirty water cause terrific trouble to the residents. If immediate steps are not taken for the cleanliness of the area, dangerous diseases such as cholera, typhoid, and malaria may break out
I, therefore request the authorities to issue orders for the cleanliness of our locality and relieve the residents off mental agony.
