Pakistan’s batting line-up stumbled under pressure in their pursuit of a 176-run target against India in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup clash at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday.

Early setbacks left Pakistan struggling to find momentum in the high-intensity encounter. Hardik Pandya struck in the opening stages, removing Sahibzada Farhan and following it up with a maiden over that immediately put the chasing side on the defensive.

Regular wickets further dented Pakistan’s hopes, with the innings failing to gain stability as Indian bowlers maintained disciplined lines and lengths.

After 12.1 overs, Pakistan were reeling at 78/7, with Faheem Ashraf and Shaheen Shah Afridi at the crease, facing an uphill task to revive the innings and keep their side in contention.
