Hindu students secure top positions in Mirpurkhas board exams

MIRPURKHAS: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpurkhas released the 2025 Class XII results for Pre-Engineering and Science General groups.

In Pre-Engineering, Prashant, son of Bhawani Shankar from Govt Higher Secondary School Samaro Town, claimed first place. Second position went to Falak Malik, daughter of Khalid from AJ Science College Mirpurkhas. The third spot was shared by Tofeeq Ahmed (Ibn-ul-Haitham GHSS KGM), Ved Vivas (Govt Degree College Umerkot), and Minahil Siddiqui (DNTES Higher Secondary School).

Out of 4,740 candidates, 624 earned A-1 grade, 1,591 grade A, 1,370 grade B, 539 grade C, 29 grade D, while 479 students failed.

In Science General, the top position was jointly secured by Dinesh Kumar of Public School and Tulsi Kapoor of Govt Girls Degree College. Abdullah Shah Lakiyari (Public School) took second place, while Ali Jan Samoon (Govt Degree College Umerkot) came third.
