Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the opening of financial aid applications for students seeking assistance for the Spring Semester 2026. Students interested in receiving financial aid must submit their applications to their nearest regional campus by January 30.
The university is currently enrolling students across the country, offering affordable and flexible education. Along with the admissions process, AIOU provides financial assistance to deserving students to support their educational pursuits.
Students who received financial aid during the Autumn Semester 2025 are eligible to reapply through the Student Service Request system by January 23. First-time applicants, however, must submit their forms by January 30 at their local campus.
In addition to this, AIOU offers free matriculation-level education to students from tribal districts, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan, helping children from remote and underdeveloped areas gain access to schooling.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood emphasized the university’s commitment to ensuring that no child misses out on education due to financial limitations. He highlighted that AIOU’s initiatives are aimed at empowering students from marginalized regions to build a better future, calling it a significant step toward educational equality.
