The Kashf Foundation is set to return to television with its latest production, Aik Aur Pakeezah, a gripping new drama written by Bee Gul, renowned for her works like Talkhiyaan (2012) and *Raqeeb Se* (2021), and directed by Kashif Nisar, known for Mrs. & Mr. Shameem (2022).
The drama features Sehar Khan and Nameer Khan in lead roles, supported by a talented cast including Amna Ilyas, Nadia Afgan, Gohar Rasheed, Hina Khawaja Bayat, and Noorul Hassan. The teaser, released on January 1, 2026, offers a glimpse into a story tackling pressing social issues.
Aik Aur Pakeezah delves into cyber harassment, gender-based violence, coerced marriage, and the societal barriers that prevent women from seeking justice. The story follows Sehar Khan’s character, who becomes the target of a manipulated video circulating online, highlighting the pressures women face from society and even their own families to remain silent.
The series also addresses male harassment through Nameer Khan’s character, ‘Faraz,’ focusing on the unequal treatment of male and female victims.
For over two decades, the Kashf Foundation has worked to expand financial access for women from low-income communities. With *Aik Aur Pakeezah*, the foundation broadens its impact through powerful storytelling, offering a tale of resistance, dignity, and reclaiming one’s voice.
