KARACHI: The Sindh government has revealed the schedule for winter vacations in educational institutions across the province. Under the new timetable, all public and private schools and colleges will observe a break to allow students and staff a rest period during the coldest months of the year.
According to the announced schedule, classes will be suspended starting from December, with specific dates varying by district to balance academic requirements and seasonal weather conditions. Officials said the vacation period aims to provide relief from harsh winter temperatures while ensuring that academic calendars remain on track for the year.
Education authorities have directed school and college administrations to inform students, parents and faculty members about the closure dates and to complete any pending academic activities before the break begins. The government has also urged institutions to maintain regular communication with parents regarding any changes or updates to the schedule.
Parents and educators have welcomed the announcement, noting that the winter break will give students an opportunity to rest and prepare for upcoming exams. The Sindh government’s decision reflects its effort to support the health and well-being of students while balancing educational priorities.
