LAHORE: Diamond Paints and FG/Din Polo booked their places in the subsidiary final after winning their respective matches on the third day of the 13th Corps Commander Polo Cup 2025, sponsored by Newage Cables and hosted by Jinnah Polo Fields.
A large number of spectators and families gathered at Jinnah Polo Fields to witness the matches, which were played in an electric atmosphere. Club Secretary Major (R) Adil Sultan Rao as well as prominent polo players and their families, was also present. Under the American system, Diamond Paints first outclassed Team Balochistan by 3–1 in their two-chukker clash. They followed it up with a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Team BN, sealing their spot in the subsidiary final.

In the second match of the day, FG/Din Polo delivered a dominant performance, thrashing Master Paints 8–3 to secure qualification. For FG/Din, Sheikh Muhammad Raffay led the scoring with four goals, Juan Cruz Greguoli added two, while Agha Musa Ali Khan and Sheikh Muhammad Farhad struck one goal each. For Master Paints, Farooq Amin Sufi, Ahmed Ali Tiwana, and Col (R) Omer Minhas scored one goal apiece.
FG/Din Polo launched into the match with blistering intensity, striking four consecutive goals to establish a commanding 4–0 lead in the opening chukka. Their dominance continued in the second chukka, where they added two more goals to stretch the scoreline to 6–0.
The momentum remained firmly with FG/Din Polo in the third chukka as they netted another brilliant brace, while Master Paints managed to pull back a solitary goal, making it 8–1. Master Paints showed late resilience in the fourth and final chukka, producing two well-crafted goals and controlling much of the play. However, the comeback came too late, and FG/Din Polo comfortably sealed an emphatic 8–3 victory.
