Dr. Warda murder was premeditated, says DPO Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD: In the latest updates on the Dr. Warda murder case, District Police Officer (DPO) Abbottabad Haroon Rashid confirmed that her killing was carried out as part of a well-planned scheme.

Dr. Warda, who went missing from Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Hospital, was later found dead near the forests of Thandiyan in Abbottabad.

Following the discovery of her body, doctors have called for the formation of a joint investigation team to ensure a thorough probe into the case.

DPO Haroon Rashid stated that four individuals were involved in Dr. Warda’s murder, with three of them already arrested. He added that the charges now include kidnapping, murder, and other related offenses.

Initial findings revealed that two years ago, Dr. Warda had given gold to her friend Rida, which was never returned. On the day of the incident, Rida allegedly took Dr. Warda to her under-construction house, where she handed her over to the suspects—Shamariz, Nadeem, and Aurangzeb.

Dr. Warda’s father has accused the police of taking bribes and has called for the arrest of the SHO and DSP. Police officials have stated that the investigation is ongoing, and legal action will be taken against those involved.

In a separate incident, a female doctor, Dr. Mishal, went missing after reportedly jumping into a nullah in Karachi’s Scout Colony in an apparent suicide attempt. The incident occurred within the limits of the Mubina Town Police Station late at night. Police have confirmed the incident based on eyewitness reports.
