PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi has said that the essence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) politics lies in justice, rule of law and public service—not power—describing his government as a “mission” to fulfill Imran Khan’s vision of a sovereign, self-reliant, and prosperous Pakistan.
The chief minister expressed these views while meeting a large delegation from PTI Attock, led by senior party leader Major Tahir Sadiq and Iman Tahir, at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar. The delegation, comprising over 500 workers and more than 60 chairmen, congratulated Afridi on assuming office and conveyed their best wishes.
Welcoming the visitors warmly, Afridi vowed to transform Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into an exemplary, transparent, peaceful and people-centric province. “This is not merely a government, but a mission to establish a self-reliant Pakistan where justice and merit prevail,” he asserted, reiterating PTI’s commitment to constitutional freedoms and principled politics.
CM Afridi noted that his appointment as a young tribal leader had infused new energy among party workers across the country, symbolizing a new era of unity, confidence and public empowerment under Imran Khan’s leadership.
