In a heartwarming display of love and devotion, a farmer from Jashpur district in Chhattisgarh, India, saved 40,000 coins over time to buy his daughter the scooty she had always dreamed of.
The touching story of Bajrang Ram and his daughter, Champa Bhagat, has gone viral on social media, capturing the hearts of many. Despite facing financial challenges, Bajrang was determined to make his daughter’s wish come true. Champa had long desired a scooter worth around INR 100,000, but the cost was beyond their means.
Undeterred, Bajrang began saving coins every day. After six months of effort, he managed to collect approximately INR 40,000 in coins. With the coins packed in a sack, he made his way to a local Honda showroom. When the staff heard his story, they were moved by his dedication.
Showroom Director Anand Gupta remarked that the incident served as a reminder that the value of a gift lies not in its price, but in the love and sacrifice behind it. He said it was an honor to serve such a devoted father whose actions are truly inspirational.
The showroom staff helped Bajrang Ram by counting the coins, offering him tea, and assisting with financing for the remaining amount. Once the formalities were completed, they handed him the keys to a brand-new Honda Activa.
Champa, overwhelmed with emotion, said, “This is not just a scooty — it’s a symbol of my father’s love and sacrifice.”
